Welcome to Plas Lligwy Cottages
Plas Lligwy Farm is a traditional working farm located 3/4 mile from the beautiful sandy Lligwy Beach, one mile west of the village of Moelfre, on the east coast of Anglesey in North Wales.
A peaceful and tranquil haven, Plas Lligwy Farm is home to four beautiful self-catering holiday cottages: The Fancy House - Ty Coed - Bear's Cottage and Plas Lligwy Cottage. Available to rent throughout the year, Plas Lligwy Cottages are well located to explore not only the beautiful island of Anglesey but all the attractions of North Wales and Snowdonia. An ideal base for self catering holidays, short breaks and weekends away on the beautiful island of Anglesey.
Guests are welcome to explore Plas Lligwy Farm which nestles in 300 acres, including 90 acres of woodland, during their stay. The settlement of Lligwy can be dated back at least to Neolithic times and there are three ancient monuments located within Plas Lligwy farm's boundaries: Din Lligwy, a remarkable Romano-British settlement dating from the 4th Century AD, Hen Capel Lligwy, a tiny ruined 12th Century chapel and Lligwy Burial Chamber, a neolithic cromlech - all managed by Cadw. The farm is just a short walk away from Lligwy beach, a lovely sandy expanse which is great for families and home to Lligwy Beach Cafe.
Wonderfully detached from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Plas Lligwy Farm and its lovely self-catering holiday cottages create a haven that you will want to return to again and again.
