Bear's Cottage

Bears Cottage is a lovely, old two-bedroomed holiday cottage, originally part of the larger Plas Lligwy farmhouse. It is set on Plas Lligwy farm, a working farm of over 300 acres including 90 acres of woodland which teem with wildlife and home to three ancient historical sites.

A characterful Victorian stone property with thick walls and a sweet first-floor window seat which overlooks the garden, Bears Cottage backs onto the farm’s former walled garden which offers plenty of room to explore, play and relax.

Bears Cottage is tastefully decorated throughout. The ground floor has a cosy, well equipped farmhouse kitchen / diner with wood burner and quarry tiled floor. Its' comfortable lounge overlooks the quiet farmyard. A separate well-equipped utility room and the bathroom (separate bath and shower) are also located downstairs.

Upstairs are two roomy bedrooms. The double bedroom has a king-sized bed and a wooden cot. The triple bedded room has three single beds. Both rooms have views over Plas Lligwy’s farmyard, beyond to fields and towards the sea.

Bears Cottage guests are welcome to make use of Plas Lligwy’s shared games room. This is located behind Ty Coed and houses a table tennis table, pool table and table football, popular with families during their stay.

Bears Cottage is a peaceful haven for a self-catering holiday on Anglesey offering an ideal base for getting away from it all.
